Pongsakorn Monturat

Pongsakorn is a Principal Technical Safety and Risk Consultant with 20 years of experience in process safety and process design, equipment sizing, hydraulic calculation, thermal calculation, process simulation including with technical risk assessment and safety loss prevention engineering design and HSE management in the oil and gas, petrochemical, power and fertilizer industries.

He has performed and involved in various safety reviews and formal safety assessment studies which include HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL Classification, SIL Verification, QRA, ALARP, Bow-Tie Study, Gas Dispersion &Thermal Radiation Study, ALARM Rationalization as well as process engineering design such as power block, steam generation, gas disposal, flaring, overpressure protection, pneumatic conveying, solid material handling, cooling tower, utilities system and process safety engineering such as Active and Passive fire protection, Fire Water/Foam demand, Fire-Fighting Equipment layout, Fire & Gas detector layout and etc. 

He also has had the opportunity to spearhead a comprehensive Corporate Leadership Development Program for a Safety Culture. In that role, he was tasked with enhancing the leadership capabilities of mid-level managers across various departments of the client’s organization.
